2026 Dursley Dozen recap

A cold and wet start set the tone for this year’s Dursley Dozen, with weeks of rain leaving the ground soft, slippy and ready to test everyone from the off.

The start line was buzzing, top-tier vibes as runners headed up from The Spot and straight into the winding, slippery climbs that Stinchcombe is famous for. There’s no easing into the Dozen… it makes you earn it early.

The first major landmark, Leaf & Ground, brought electric support once again. The energy there was unreal — and very much needed before tackling the next grind uphill.

From slippy fields and boggy descents to the infamous rope climb, the Dozen once again proved why it’s Dursley’s best race of the season. Tough, relentless, local and absolutely brilliant.

The overall winner of the 2026 Dursley Dozen was Dursley Running Club’s very own Charlie Worlsford who backed up his 2025 win while Anne Kenchington crossed the finish line as first female.

Dursley Peaks Race 2025

Team DRC

It was a beautiful sunny evening, perfect running conditions with a slight breeze. This year the Peaks Race returned to an evening event with a start time of 7pm. 70 runners entered the event with 59 running including 27 Dursley Running Club members.

Well done to everyone who took part, we hope everyone enjoyed the race, enjoyed the stunning views and the happy marshals. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

And the results for the 35th edition of the legendary Dursley Dozen are in!

But first, congratulations to every single runner who took on the epic 12-mile course and completed what some people call the ultimate trail running experience… Let us know in the comments that you think 😄
